Terms of Use

The rules that apply when you create an account, use Your Boss or start an App Store subscription.

These terms supplement the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. If mandatory consumer law gives you stronger rights, those rights continue to apply.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These terms apply to the Your Boss app, account services and related website. By creating an account, starting a subscription or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and meet the minimum age required in your location.

2. The service

Your Boss provides task, routine, calendar, schedule-window, reminder, offline synchronization, widget and productivity features. Features may depend on device permissions, network access, iOS capabilities and an active subscription. Your Boss is a planning aid and does not guarantee that a notification, deadline, schedule or desired result will occur.

3. Subscriptions and free trial

  • Your Boss Premium Monthly is offered at US $5.99 per month.
  • Your Boss Premium Yearly is offered at US $29.99 per year.
  • Eligible new subscribers may receive a 14-day introductory free trial. Apple determines eligibility and displays the final trial terms before confirmation.
  • Pricing may vary by country, currency and tax. Apple displays the final localized price before purchase.
  • After a trial or paid term, the subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Apple handles billing, payment methods, taxes and eligible refunds under its policies.
  • You can manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Paid features remain available through the end of an already-paid period after cancellation, subject to Apple’s subscription status. Restore Purchases is available in the app for eligible purchases made with the same Apple Account.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your credentials and controlling access to your devices. Notify support promptly if you believe an account or device session is compromised. We may request verification before making account changes or responding to sensitive requests.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of tasks, notes, photos and other content you enter. You grant us the limited permission necessary to host, process, synchronize, back up and display that content to operate and secure the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to add the content.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service. In particular, do not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access, bypass security or interfere with service operation.
  • Use automated methods that overload, scrape or disrupt the service.
  • Upload unlawful, harmful or rights-infringing content.
  • Impersonate others, commit fraud or use the service to harm another person.
  • Reverse engineer or redistribute protected parts of the service except where law expressly allows it.

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users or comply with law.

7. Availability, updates and termination

We may update, improve, replace or discontinue features and may temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security or circumstances outside our control. You may stop using the service at any time. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions; deleting one does not automatically complete the other.

8. Third-party services

Optional features may use Apple, Google, Telegram or other third-party services. Their separate terms and privacy practices apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party availability or decisions, including App Store billing and refund outcomes.

9. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your Boss is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every reminder will be delivered. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss caused by missed work, unavailable notifications, connectivity, data entered by a user or third-party services. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes and governing terms

We may update these terms for product, security, legal or commercial reasons. The effective date identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated appropriately. Applicable mandatory consumer law and the Apple Standard EULA remain in effect.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be submitted using the instructions on the Your Boss Support page. The developer contact is also published with the Your Boss App Store product listing.
